Working under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you'll assist residents with activities of daily living and play a vital role in helping them achieve the highest possible quality of life.ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional resident-centered care in accordance with individualized care plansAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and personal careAssist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and use of mobility equipmentTake and record vital signs and promptly report changes in resident conditionAnswer resident call lights quickly and provide compassionate assistanceAssist with meals, hydration, and feeding as neededMaintain clean, comfortable resident rooms and change bed linens as necessaryObserve and report physical, emotional, or behavioral changes to the licensed nurseDocument resident care accurately and completelyFollow infection prevention and infection control policies and proceduresCommunicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care teamPromote resident dignity, respect, and quality of life at all timesQualificationsCurrent Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standingSuccessful completion of a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training ProgramCurrent BLS/CPR Certification preferredPrevious experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, hospital, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare is preferred but not requiredStrong communication and teamwork skillsCompassionate, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding resident careWe Welcome Candidates With Experience AsCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Nurse AideNursing AssistantPatient Care Technician (PCT)Resident AssistantCaregiverGeriatric Nursing AssistantSkilled NursingLong-Term CareRehabilitationAssisted LivingMemory CareWhy Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation?At Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation, our CNAs are the heart of everything we do.
