Systems Administrator III

Job Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and serve as escalation point for critical incidents, including resolution and post-incident analysis - Design, implement, and maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure - Act as a subject matter expert for assigned platforms and lead infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle replacements, and improvement initiatives - Monitor system health, respond to alerts, and proactively identify risks and opportunities for optimization, automation, and efficiency - Design, support, and enhance modern cloud services including Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint, and security platforms - Apply automation and scripting to improve consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency - Collaborate with project managers, security, application teams, and business stakeholders to deliver infrastructure solutions aligned with business needs, security, and budget - Develop and maintain technical standards, procedures, and documentation - Mentor and coach junior and mid-level system administrators; support onboarding, skill development, and knowledge sharing across the team - Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required Skills Windows azure Additional Skills & Qualifications 7+ years' experience in administrating and managing enterprise server systems including cloud and/or virtual solutions Strong knowledge and experience with PC hardware and software technology, including operating systems Expertise with Server operating systems and services including Windows 2008/2012/2016, DNS, Active Directory, and PowerShell Experience with O365, Exchange Online, Azure and Intune Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Independence, OH. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
