Job Description Primary Duties and Responsibilities Work with a team of individuals to provide a safe, secure, healthy environment for young children. Responsible for maintaining the Head Start Standards and KY Child Care requirements. Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, learning experiences, conduct developmental screening, on-going assessment, and engage families in their child's growth and development. Work alongside a team of individuals with young children, including children with special needs. Participate in professional development to ensure the training hours required by the state. WKUCCC also expects teachers to engage in professional development to enhance their educational background and earn a CDA within two years.
