Senior Readiness Tester

ResponsibilitiesSpecific Responsibilities include:Ensure the operational readiness of products before their deploymentsExecute and support operational testingWorking as expert, conduct research and evaluate technical performance of customer products and overall system segments.Provide expertise, foundational knowledge, and comprehensive instruction for new team members and stakeholdersEnsure products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods.Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements. This includes reviews of test plans/procedures and ensuring requirements verification/validation.Ensure that all equipment, documentation, etc. is complete and available prior to testing startWrite test plansWork with the team to ensure testing coverageReview technical documentation (Product guides, Quick Start guides) and identify discrepanciesWork with the product team to improve the documentationProduce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials.Work closely with development, test, security, and leadership teams for deliverablesProvide feedback to design engineers and evaluate end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.Provide operational input into product developmentCollect and work with the development teams to resolve any issues found before or during testingPrepare test results briefingsPresent briefings to managementMaintain documentation in Confluence and emails for teamAttend product demosSupport general meeting facilitation, note taking, and follow-up, etc.QualificationsRequired:Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degreeActive TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearanceCustomer Technical Operations certificationPrior experience and fundamental knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycleProduct requirements experienceExperience in writing test plansPrior product testing experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesired:Some basic knowledge of RFPrevious CONOPS developmentBenefits:Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees supporting this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap, and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan.Peraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
