Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher working with students who benefit from tailored instruction and personalized support. This contract role is located near Glendale, AZ, with immediate openings in both K-3 and 4-6 grade levels. You’ll work in an inclusion and pull-out support setting, collaborating with a diverse team to ensure each student has an optimal learning experience. The caseload is up to 30 students, allowing you to focus on fostering growth, independence, and success in every child.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Arizona Mild/Moderate K-12 Special Education license required (Moderate/Severe licenses will also be considered)
• Experience supporting K-6 students with a variety of learning needs preferred
• Strong ability to adapt teaching strategies for inclusive and pull-out educational models
• Commitment to ongoing communication with general education teachers and support staff
• Effective skills in progress monitoring, IEP implementation, and data-driven instruction

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for up to 30 students
• Provide direct instruction and academic interventions in both inclusive classroom and small group (pull-out) settings
• Partner with classroom teachers and related service providers to promote student success
• Maintain comprehensive student records and document progress toward goals
• Foster a supportive, positive, and organized classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide initiatives

This full-time contract comes with a regular Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week, from now through May 21st, 2027.
