Job Description
\nNorthern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking motivated and collaborative advanced practitioners to join our thriving cardiology team in Bangor, Maine . As the regional center for cardiovascular care, our program provides comprehensive cardiac services and is supported by a highly skilled team of 24 physicians, 24 advanced practitioners, and dedicated support staff.
\nOur cardiology service offers a full spectrum of specialty care, including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, congestive heart failure management, and structural heart.
\nHospital-Based Position:
\n- \n
- Accepts an acute care nurse practitioner or physician associate \n
- Provide inpatient cardiology care through rotating hospital service coverage \n
- Perform patient admissions, consultations, discharges, and occasional telemedicine \n
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams \n
Clinic-Based Position:
\n- \n
- Accepts an acute care nurse practitioner, family medicine nurse practitioner, or physician associate \n
- Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care \n
- Conduct patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and occasional telemedicine \n
- Support continuity of care \n
Compensation Information:
\n- \n
- $115,000-$142,000 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on quality incentives. \n
- The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc. \n
