Role Description This full-time, on-site Respiratory Therapist (RT) role is based in Daytona Beach, FL. The RT will provide clinical respiratory care services to patients in accordance with physician orders, including assessment, equipment setup, patient education, and ongoing monitoring of therapy effectiveness. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing respiratory assessments, instructing patients and caregivers on proper use and maintenance of home respiratory equipment, and ensuring safe and effective therapy delivery. The RT will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, document care accurately, and support compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role may also involve participation in on-call rotations, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge and clinical skills in Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Therapy. Experience or training in Respiratory Care across diverse patient populations. Understanding of Medicine principles related to respiratory conditions and treatments. Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care or working with high-acuity respiratory patients is a plus. Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in Florida, in good standing. Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred depending on patient population served. Strong patient education, communication, and documentation skills, with ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Ability to lift, move, and set up respiratory equipment and to travel locally as needed for patient visits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
