Senior Consultant

We are seeking a skilled VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Design & Deployment Consultant responsible for implementing and deploying enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on executing architecture designs, performing system build and integration, and ensuring successful deployment within customer environments. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on technical expertise with effective client-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments, including management and workload domains.
• Implement core components such as vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and SDDC Manager as part of the software-defined data center (SDDC) stack.
• Execute deployment plans, configure networking and storage policies, and validate system integration.
• Collaborate with solution architects to ensure deployments align with design specifications and best practices.
• Troubleshoot deployment and configuration issues, performing root cause analysis and escalation when required.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Support customer teams during initial deployment (Day-1) and ongoing operations (Day-2).
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in VMware technologies, preferably in consulting or professional services.
• Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation deployments and lifecycle operations.
• Strong expertise in:
  • vSphere (virtualization and VM management)
  • vSAN (software-defined storage)
  • NSX (network virtualization and security)
  • SDDC Manager (automation and lifecycle management)
• Experience with management domain deployment and workload domain configuration.
• Knowledge of network configuration, storage policies, and cluster setup.
• Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., PowerCLI, Python, or similar).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for customer-facing engagements.

Compensation: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
