Senior ConsultantRicondo is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team of talented aviation consultants in one of our offices located in Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Seattle, Miami, or Orlando. Ricondo team members are passionate about working alongside airport management to solve the complex issues facing the aviation industry today. They provide strategic planning services at airports around the world, including operational and physical planning, master planning, environmental reviews, and business advisory services. As a Senior Consultant, you will work both independently and collaboratively with our diverse team of aviation professionals located in offices across the country to develop and implement airport planning projects.Core ResponsibilitiesProvide input, technical assistance, and recommendations on airport planning studies.Prepare draft sections of reports and deliverables based on verbal and written input from others.Assist in developing and formatting tables, charts, and maps that relate to existing and proposed airport planning studies.Develop and maintain electronic data filesPerform capacity and requirements analyses of airport facilities, develop alternatives and layout plans, and provide support for accompanying graphics.Conduct field observations and investigations and collect data supporting airport planning studies.Consult with colleagues and senior staff concerning the compiling, analyzing, and presenting of research data for airport planning studies.Respond to requests for data and information from internal staff and external clients.RequirementsBachelor's degree in a field that provides a strong foundation for aviation consulting, such as engineering, architecture, planning, or aviation management3 to 5 years of experience, with increasing responsibility in a related fieldIntellectual curiosity to learn and self-educate and ability to work independently and in a team environment on various projects and tasksFamiliarity with the airport and airline industry or a desire to learn and grow in the aviation industryFamiliarity with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and other industry planning/design guidance documentsExcellent analytical skillsExceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skillsProficiency in various analytical, production, and visualization software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other visualization software, and Microsoft 365 products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordWillingness to travel to support Ricondo's project portfolioAdditional Preferred Technical SkillsKnowledge of general airport facility planning methods, practices, and principlesUnderstanding of research techniques, sources of current aviation industry information, and analytical methodsKnowledge of computer applications pertaining to planning functions, including statistical and spreadsheet applications and databasesAbility to research, organize, and analyze information to formulate effective recommendationsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relations with staff at client organizationsSoft SkillsSelf-motivated: Exhibit initiative to identify creative and technically sound solutions.Detail-oriented: For analytical and technical writing assignments, communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences and edit for consistency and grammar.Effective communicator: Possess excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills to coordinate with teams and clients.Highly organized: Plan and prioritize work assignments and demonstrate ability to manage concurrent assignments with different teams.Collaborative: Collaborate and work well with staff both in person and remotely in other locations.Competitive Benefits PackageEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match, depending on company performanceMedical, dental, and vision insurance provided at no premium cost to the employee (including dependents)Generous paid time-off program for sick leave and vacation timeCompany-paid holidaysTuition reimbursement programProfessional certification, licensure, and association membership fundingProfessional conferences and seminarsInternal workshops and webinarsShort- and long-term disability insurance coverageLife insurance (survivor benefits)Team member referral bonus programFlexible spending accounts (medical and dependent care)Transit commuter benefit (based upon location)The base pay range for this role is $77,000 to $118,000. The base salary range/hourly rate established for a job offer is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, such as experience, education, and skills.
