About the Position California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is hiring Psychologists to provide mental health services to incarcerated individuals. Responsibilities include conducting screenings, evaluating persons, crisis intervention, individual therapy, treatment planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Opportunities for program evaluation and research exist. Annual Salary Ranges $167,244 (Licensed) $137,952 (Pre‑Licensed) $192,336 (Licensed – inpatient unit) $158,640 (Pre‑Licensed – inpatient unit) Recruitment and Retention Bonus Bonuses up to 7% over 7 years, with an additional up to $30,000 within the first 12 months for new hires. Referral Bonus Eligible employees may receive $5,000 per successfully hired referral.
