About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Days Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: Trauma and Neuro experience Description: Hiring Process includes profile review and an interview with the unit manager. Candidates must be within a 60-mile radius. A driver's license must be submitted for verification. Clinicians should plan to be in-state for the week of orientation, even if modules are remote. Experience in Trauma and Neuro fields is essential. Scrubbing is required for this role. Charge Nurse or House Supervisor experience is preferred, but there will be a charge and house supervisor on shift. Two OR technicians will be present on each shift. Charting system used is Epic. The average number of cases per day is 30, with common cases including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics. Call requirement is approximately 120 hours per contract, rotating with the staff. Response time for call is expected to be within 30 minutes. Floating within designated zones may be required in extreme cases. Scrubs will be provided for staff. Unit-specific orientation will take place. Cancellation policy allows for up to four shifts to be canceled per 13-week assignment. The care setting is acute.
