Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (Labor/Delivery) is responsible for providing care for mothers and babies in a hospital setting, focusing on childbirth and postpartum care. This position involves active participation in both labor and delivery as well as transition to mother/baby care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients in active labor and non-active laboring phases according to AWHONN and NANN guidelines.
• Administer medication and manage cases of hypertension and substance abuse.
• Perform cervical exams and manage antepartum and labor processes, including epidurals and fetal monitoring.

Requirements:

• Valid Nursing License with at least 1 year of experience.
• BLS, NRP certification, and fetal monitoring competency (AWHONN or equivalent).
• Strong labor and delivery experience, including post-partum care and experience with Pyxis and HUGS Security systems.
