Onsite MDR Vigilance Specialist

Location: Onsite in  Mounds View, MN

Schedule: 40 hours/week

Overview

We are seeking a Onsite MDR Vigilance Specialist to support complaint handling and regulatory reporting activities within a leading medical

device environment. This role is ideal for candidates with healthcare experience, strong analytical skills, and a passion for quality and patient safety.

Required Education & Experience

• Education: BSN preferred (other degrees considered)
• Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year of MDR Vigilance Specialist experience (medical device experience preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and assess product feedback to determine if a complaint record is required
• Document complaint information in the Global Complaint Handling (GCH) system
• Identify and follow up on missing information by contacting:
  • Medtronic field personnel
  • Healthcare providers
  • Patients or initial reporters
• Communicate professionally with external stakeholders, ensuring a strong customer-focused approach
• Evaluate product events for MDR and Vigilance reporting requirements
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports (FDA and global regulatory bodies)
• Determine if product investigations are required and assess:
  • Root cause and contributing factors
  • Device relationship
  • Need for formal investigation
• Summarize investigation results and escalate complex issues as needed
• Support additional projects and assignments

This is a Contract position based out of Mounds View, MN.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Mounds View,MN.
