Compensation: $2284 - $2752 | Shift: 3x12 Days

Become a vital member of our healthcare team in Des Moines, IA, where you will support mothers and their newborns throughout the labor and delivery process. This position demands proficiency in high-risk obstetrics, antepartum care, and both C-section and vaginal deliveries. You will work in a vibrant environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1-2, ensuring individualized and attentive care.

• Deliver comprehensive care to high-risk obstetric patients
• Oversee antepartum, C-section, and vaginal deliveries
• Administer medications such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
• Be prepared to float across various campuses as required
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting
• Completion of at least one travel assignment within the last 12 months
• Current Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
• Intermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certification
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA)
