Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician

Position Overview Under supervision of the section supervisor, performs routine and specialized tests in clinical or pathology laboratory section in a timely manner according to UHS, Hospitals’, Infection Control, Laboratory and Departmental Policies and Procedures, NYSDOH, CDC Blood and Body Fluids policies and procedures. Priority is given to STAT testing and to tests that require immediate processing. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Pathology, UHS Wilson Medical Center Primary Work Shift: Rotational Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Range: $27.80 - $41.69 per hour, depending on experience Education/Experience Minimum Required: Associate degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent (NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician). Preferred: One (1) year of clinical laboratory experience. License/Certification Minimum Required: NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician. Must possess a valid & active Driver's License.
