Provide care on a dedicated medical‑surgical unit focused on neurology, oncology, and general medical patients. Staff nights on a 12‑hour shift schedule, starting 07/27/2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week. Qualifications: Iowa RN license; 12 years of current hospital or medical center experience (med‑surg, neurology, or oncology); EPIC EMR experience; minimum 18 months administering heparin, Cardizem, and amiodarone; experience caring for neurology and oncology patients; NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred. Preferred: Prior stroke, oncology, or neurology experience; NIH Stroke Scale certification; strong clinical skills specific to the discipline. Float: May float between Medical Surgery and Stepdown units. Unit: Stroke unit, 24 beds; patient ratios 1:5 days/evenings, 1:6 nights. Orientation: 07/27, 08/03, 08/10. Dress code: navy or black tops and bottoms, solids. Holidays: Contractor must work 1‑2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). No on-call requirement.
