Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a focus on Cardiac Telemetry for a night shift role. This position involves a series of 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, requiring on-site presence every other weekend and holiday as needed.

Job Requirements

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry and/or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings
• Experience with the following medications is mandatory:
  • Amiodarone
  • Heparin
  • Dopamine
  • Cardizem
• Experience with pre/post cardiac catheterization, pre/post Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), and pre/post Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
• Previous charge nurse experience is an advantage

Skills and Responsibilities

• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
• Oxygen administration
• Pacemaker management (temporary and permanent)
• Proficient in telemetry, including unit monitoring
• IV maintenance and starting
• Telemetry titration of cardiac drips
• Wound care and management

Unit Details

The selected candidate will work within an interdisciplinary support team and will be caring for adult patients. Familiarity with community hospital practices is preferred.

Compliance Requirements

• A maximum of 7 days of time off per contract
• Work history verification for the past 7 years required
• Completion of necessary compliance documents before the deadline
• All certifications must be current and documented
