Job Summary: Mechanical Technician - Shreveport, LA

About the Role
Join a high-performing team as a Mechanical Technician in Shreveport, LA (71108). You will play a vital part in maintaining, repairing, and improving essential equipment to ensure timely delivery and operational excellence. This is a full-time, shop-based position with a 15-6 day shift rotation (6am-6pm), providing hands-on experience in a dynamic, onshore environment.

Responsibilities

- Maintain assigned equipment following established maintenance programs and reliability-centered strategies
- Accurately record labor, materials, and maintenance activity in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization
- Support the reduction of nonproductive time by implementing cost-of-service-delivery (CoSD) projects
- Participate in failure investigations and root cause analysis to enhance equipment reliability
- Ensure compliance with all Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) standards and competency systems
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance productivity and maintenance efficiency
Required Skills and Experience

- Proficiency in mechanical equipment maintenance and repair techniques
- Experience with maintenance management systems and accurate record-keeping
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and operational discipline
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical issues
- Clear communication skills and team-player mindset
Preferred Skills

- Exposure to reliability-centered maintenance strategies
- Experience in continuous improvement or Lean initiatives
- Familiarity with cost-of-service-delivery (CoSD) projects
