Facility: Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Tucson
Location: Tucson, AZ
Address: 1921 West Hospital Drive, Tucson, AZ 85704
Start Date: September 2026
End Date: January 2027
Duration: 17 Weeks
Setting: Acute Care Rehabilitation Hospital
Employment Type: W-2 | Weekly Pay
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: Two weekend day shifts per week
Travel or Local Candidates: Welcome
Weekly Pay: $2,400–$2,500/week
Job Summary
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Tucson is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide individualized rehabilitation services for patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or neurological conditions. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to maximize patient mobility, independence, and functional outcomes.
Requirements
Current Arizona Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
BLS certification required
Acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
Ability to work the required weekday schedule and weekend rotation
Required Credentials
Active Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) License or eligibility
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current BLS Certification

Monday–Friday schedule
Two weekend day shifts per week required
Travel and local candidates accepted
