Kidtastic Kids Preschool Special Education Program

Kidtastic Kids is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Per Diem Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to provide school-based physical therapy services to preschool-aged children with developmental delays and disabilities.

In this role, you will work directly with young learners in a supportive, child-centered educational environment, helping students develop the motor skills necessary to participate successfully in school activities and daily routines. Services are provided on-site during the school day (8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. ) and are delivered in accordance with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group physical therapy services to preschool-aged children.
• Develop and implement therapy interventions aligned with student IEP goals.
• Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments as assigned.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state regulations and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing.
• Experience working with young children, preferably in a school-based, preschool, or early intervention setting.
• Knowledge of IEPs and New York State preschool special education regulations preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
