Legal Assistant - Family Law

Our client, a boutique family law firm in Tampa, is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and team-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a collaborative and expanding practice. The firm is seeking someone who is comfortable working fully onsite and becoming fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of the practice and team. While the position is fully onsite initially, there may be some hybrid or remote flexibility available down the road, approximately within 6 months to 1 year, depending on performance and team needs. Responsibilities Florida state court e-filing Assisting with the preparation, organization, and management of discovery Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence Trial preparation support Managing attorney calendars, scheduling, and deadlines Coordinating with courts and maintaining familiarity with court procedures and rules General legal administrative support as needed Qualifications Prior experience as a Legal Assistant within family law (out-of-state family law experience will also be considered) Experience assisting with discovery and trial preparation Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office programs Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist where needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
