IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple medium to large IT projects and sub-projects, as well as managing, directing and coordinating associate project managers and/or IT staff leading those projects. This individual is responsible for understanding the integration and interdependencies of multiple projects in order to provide effective systems for the company’s business users. The individual should understand relational databases and web applications integration with a database. As important as technical skill, this person should also be able to quickly learn the company’s business process from top to bottom.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• A proven track record of excellent IT project management skills demonstrated for challenging clients and complex inter-related or technically oriented projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
• Experience managing projects through all aspects of a project life cycle
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Project and Office
• Ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects
• Ability to manage geographically diverse teams, and train geographically diverse users

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, engineering or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience that provides the individual with the required skills.
