We are searching for a talented Endoscopy Technician
Hours: 32 flex 40hrs
Shift: Day shift with on call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday); Variable hours
Location: St. Luke's Hospital – New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Manager, Patient Care Services or Designee, perform a variety of duties including providing technical services or support. Assist physicians with a variety of endoscopic procedures, including demonstrating clinical skills in an acute patient care environment.
Qualifications
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized training.
- Previous operating room experience is preferred. Basic medical terminology is required.
- Must be able to understand and be knowledgeable of the principles of sterile technique, sterilization process, etc. Knowledge of fiber optics required.
- Three years and up to five years experience required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
- Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay Range
USD $17.66 - USD $29.70 /Hr.
