Tax Partner - GeneralistExciting opportunity available for a Tax Advisory Leader to join a thriving regional CPA firm in the Woodland Hills, CA area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate, partnership, and high net worth individual tax. This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule and attractive benefits, including generous bonuses and a 5% employer contribution to the 401K program.Responsibilities:Deliver a wide range of services to clients, ensuring their best interests are met. Mentor and train staff, while generating new business opportunities for the firm.Essential FunctionsManage all client services related to accounting, auditing, taxes, and advisory.Review and approve tax returns.Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of tax staff.Implement training programs for professional staff, ensuring technical competence.Expand client services and develop new business opportunities.Nonessential FunctionsContribute to practice development initiatives.Promote operational efficiency and compliance within the firm.Provide insight to improve firm operations and profitability.Complete other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrate expertise in tax laws, regulations, and financial software.Possess strong business development skills.Organize work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.Ability to multi-task effectively and reason logically.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesLead the development and training of tax employees.Review and evaluate the qualifications of staff for training needs.Participate in reviews, compensation decisions, and evaluations.Minimum QualificationsRequires 10-15 years of public accounting experience, with a progression in complexity.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.Maintain 40 hours of continuing education annually.Active CPA license.
