Position Overview As a Respiratory Therapist (RT), you will provide respiratory care services, administer treatments, and monitor residents’ pulmonary status. You will play a vital role in a collaborative healthcare team, helping residents achieve optimal respiratory function and overall well-being. RT Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program Active New York State Respiratory Therapist (RT) license BLS certification required Experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care preferred (new graduates welcome) Strong communication, assessment, and patient care skills Key Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy Monitor patients’ pulmonary status and document changes Assist with ventilator care and respiratory support as needed Educate residents and families on respiratory health and therapy techniques Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with facility policies and professional standards Schedule Full-Time position 8-hour shifts In-person role Compensation $50/hour $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Why Choose Us?
