Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our busy Medical/Surgical Unit. This position requires a positive team player with effective communication skills and the ability to manage time efficiently. The RN will work within a collaborative environment to provide care to a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, spine, trauma, and medical-surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including thorough assessments and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with RN/LPN teams to manage patient care effectively.
• Utilize various medical equipment such as Alaris pumps, remote telemetry, and wound vacs.
• Document patient information in the Meditech system.
• Participate in patient care related procedures as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience required.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification is optional.
