Job Opportunity: School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide school-based health services for students in grades 6 through 12. This temporary position is to cover parental leave from August to November. Position: Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location: Cambridge, MA Duration: Parental Leave Coverage, August - November Schedule: Monday - Friday, half days on Wednesday Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Grades: 6th - 12th Key Responsibilities: Provide healthcare services to students, including first aid, emergency care, and management of chronic conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Conduct health assessments and develop care plans for students with medical needs. Monitor and manage communicable diseases and other health issues within the school. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and well-being. Maintain accurate and confidential health records. Qualifications: Current and valid RN or LPN license. CPR and First Aid certification. Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and effectively.
