Job Title: Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) - 26-00312

$18-21/hr – 4 OR 5-day work week! - Millersburg, OH

Spherion Mid Ohio, in partnership with an established hearing care provider, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join a hearing care medical office in Millersburg, OH.

Overview:
This is a patient-facing medical front-office position responsible for keeping the day-to-day administrative side of the clinic organized while providing a positive experience for patients.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with patients, managing phones and scheduling, handling administrative responsibilities, processing payments, maintaining records, and supporting the hearing care provider.

Schedule and Location:
-4 or 5-day schedule! Monday-Friday OR Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm
-This position will begin as 3-month maternity coverage, but there is potential opportunity for full-time long-term hire!
-Fully onsite in Millersburg, Ohio office

Key Responsibilities:
-Greet patients and provide front-desk support
-Answer incoming calls and respond to patient questions
-Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
-Conduct outbound calls for appointment confirmation and patient retention
-Check patients in and out of the office
-Collect and record patient payments
-Assist with basic daily accounting and office reconciliation
-Maintain patient records and documentation
-Assist with insurance verification, authorizations, and claim-related information
-Coordinate the provider's schedule and maintain efficient patient flow
-Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly office reports and tracking
-Assist with invoices, office supplies, mail, filing, and general administrative duties
-Track hearing aids, repairs, and product inventory
-Communicate with home office and other internal teams as needed
-Assist with patient outreach, marketing activities, events, and retention efforts
-Help maintain an organized and professional reception/front-office environment
-Open and close the office as required

Requirements:
-1-3 years previous medical office or front office experience
-Ability to professionally communicate and interact with patients on the phone and in-person
-Strong administrative and organizational skills
-Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
-High School Diploma/GED is required

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate has 1-3 year of medical office experience and is accurate, dependable, and comfortable working independently. This person should be approachable and collaborative while remaining focused and productive.

Compensation: $18-21/hour
