Neuroradiology Imaging Fellowship 2026 - 2027

Overview The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure‑ineligible Clinical Instructor position in the Neuroradiology Imaging track with a July 1, 2026 start date. Responsibilities Training and clinical work in Neuroradiology will include all aspects of diagnostic Neuroradiology — plain film imaging, CT, MRI, advanced imaging techniques, head, neck and spine biopsies, diagnostic angiography, myelography, and percutaneous diagnostic procedures (biopsies, etc.). Additional responsibilities include independent read‑out of cases, with reduced need for an attending Radiologist’s oversight. As your experience grows, you will progressively assume the responsibilities of a junior attending for diagnostic imaging using the modalities and procedures described above. You may be expected to participate in internal moonlighting as part of the 24/7 program launched in FY2018, subject to approval of the Division Chief. Qualifications Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent and have successfully completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at an ACGME‑accredited institution or a residency accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).
