Occupational Therapist - OTWe are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and serving as a resource in the therapy department.Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patient's ability to perform daily tasks. The responsibilities of Occupational Therapist include (but are not limited to):Evaluating a patient's condition and needsDeveloping treatment plans to address a patient's needs and help them meet specific goalsAssessing a patient's home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient's needs and improve independenceTraining patients and their caregivers to use special equipmentAssessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree or high in Occupational Therapy or related disciplineCurrent state License as an Occupational TherapistCurrent CPR certificationOne (1) year Pediatric experience in home health, acute care, or out-patient setting preferredExcellent organizational and time management skills
