Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr (contract rate, paid weekly through Arbor Associates)
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday with flexibility based on program needs

About This Role

Arbor Associates is placing a Board Certified Behavior Analyst into a well-established behavioral health and human services organization serving adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and Acquired Brain Injury across eight residential group homes in Central Massachusetts. This organization has more than 40 years of experience supporting individuals with complex needs to live productive, fulfilling lives in community-based settings - and its residential programs reflect that commitment at every level of care.

This is a genuine clinical role, not a paper-plan position. You will work directly across program sites, developing and overseeing individualized behavior support plans, building staff capacity to implement them with fidelity, and serving as the clinical anchor for a residential model that takes the whole-person seriously. The right candidate has real residential experience with this population, is comfortable moving across multiple sites, and understands that the quality of a behavior plan is measured by whether it actually gets implemented correctly on the floor - not just whether it gets written.

This placement is available as a straight contract assignment or as a contract-to-hire pathway for candidates interested in a permanent role. Both options are on the table and can be discussed based on your situation and goals.

What You'll Do

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans for adults with ASD, IDD, and ABI across eight residential group home sites
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and translate findings into practical, staff-implementable intervention strategies
• Provide ongoing training, consultation, and feedback to direct care staff on behavior plan implementation and data collection
• Analyze behavioral data, adjust programming based on outcomes, and document progress in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including program directors, nurses, case managers, and families
• Ensure compliance with Massachusetts licensing standards, BACB ethical guidelines, and applicable DDS and DMH requirements
• Participate in clinical reviews, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives across assigned programs

Required Credentials

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification - required
• Active Massachusetts Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) license - required at time of placement
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field - required
• Minimum two years of post-certification experience working with adults with ASD, IDD, or ABI in residential or community-based settings - required

Preferred Background

• Direct experience in residential group home settings serving adults with complex behavioral and developmental needs
• Demonstrated proficiency in functional behavior assessment, behavior intervention plan development, and staff training
• Familiarity with Massachusetts DDS and DMH licensing and documentation requirements
• Experience working across multiple program sites or as a traveling/floating BCBA
• Strong data analysis skills and comfort with electronic health record or data collection systems

Additional Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation - required; travel across Central Massachusetts group home sites is core to this role
• Acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check including CORI/SORI
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to train and influence direct care staff without direct supervisory authority
