CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

Job Summary:To take care of all aspects of a customer’s needs by listening to and then recommending products, services or a course of action to meet those needs.Reporting Structure:This position receives work direction from the Customer Service Supervisor and the Director of Customer Service.Duties/Responsibilities:Makes every effort to serve all customers courteously and efficiently, to respond to inquiries, satisfy their complaints, and if unable to do so, refers them to the proper person(s).Maintains in depth knowledge of FTC and subsidiary company products and services to include pricing and coverage areas.Receives and credits customer payments by credit cards and processes daily deposits. Posts information to customer accounts, prepares forms, data and supporting documentation and forwards to appropriate FTC personnel.Receives and processes service applications and service orders. Promotes Farmers Telephone Cooperative and subsidiaries products and services.Performs credit activities including conducting investigations, determining special deposits, reconnect fees and credit status of customers.Completes a variety of reports and forms related to customer service activities.Works with Marketing personnel to notify them of requests and/or quotes for business related services.Processes paperwork and supporting documentation for Interexchange Carriers and re-rate customer bills.Maintains customer service files and other pertinent information.Researches and compiles information for correspondence, reports and documents.Provides information for directory listings and forwards to the Directory Coordinator.Responds to subscriber capital credit inquiries and processes appropriate documentation.Complies with all safety rules and regulations.Performs other duties as directed.Pay Information:HourlyRequired Skills/Abilities:High school diplomaWorking knowledge of computersData entry skillsTwo years experience in customer serviceExcellent verbal communication skillsPersonality for dealing with the publicExcellent organizational skillsDesired Skills/Abilities:Associate Degree or minimum two years of collegeProactive selling skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Paycom - ATS
