Diesel Mechanic Fleet Mobile Service

About the Job

We’re hiring a dependable mobile fleet technician who is familiar with diesel & gas vehicles to perform on-site repairs and maintenance for commercial clients throughout the Columbus area.

This is an independent field position for someone who can diagnose problems, communicate with customers, and handle a variety of repairs in the field.

What You Get

$25 - $40/hr based on experience

Typical Work Includes

Diagnostics and troubleshooting
PM services and roadside repairs
Brakes, no-starts, electrical, and general repairs
Light, medium, and heavy-duty diesel/gas vehicles
Customer communication and job documentation

Schedule

Full-time with overtime opportunities
Occasional weekend work
On-call for after-hours jobs as needed

What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 4 years of mechanical experience (diesel preferred)
Diagnostic proficiency and scan tool experience
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
History of light, medium, and heavy-duty truck and trailer repairs
Ability to work independently
Good communication and professionalism
Must supply your own hand tools
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Background and/or drug screening may be required

Bonus Experience

Mobile repair or roadside service
Fleet maintenance
ASE certifications
