JOIN OUR TEAM AND EXPERIENCE ENDLESS CAREER POSSIBILITIESIF YOU ARE AN EXISTING TEAM MEMBER, PLEASE CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINK TO BE TAKEN TO THE INTERNAL CAREER SITE: MOHEGAN INTERNAL CAREER SITEPosition Summary:This position is responsible for participating in the day-to-day responsibilities and actions of the Count Room Department.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:Inspects and prepares TITO paper stock for replacement on the casino floorAssists in the movement and verification of funds and detection of counterfeit currencyCollects and transports all currency acceptor boxes to the Count RoomsCounts and records contents of the table drop and currency acceptor cash boxesScans and opens currency acceptor boxes and opens table games boxesLoads contents from the table games and currency acceptor boxes into the BPS machineOperates the BPS machine on a daily basisAssists the Count Room team in the replenishment and reconciliation of NRT UnitsSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:Operates the tow motor on the currency drop and the label pro scanner gunComplies with casino regulatory rules and regulations and casino internal accounting controlsAssists in safeguarding against theft and ensures the security and integrity of all Tribal assetsMinimum Education and Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentPrevious experience with keyboard/keypad data entry and basic math skillsMust have the ability to read, write and understand EnglishCompetencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:Good written and verbal communication skillsAbility to operate BPS machinesProficiency in the use of an adding machine, ability to generate flawless tapes for submission and accurately count and record currencyKnowledge of U.S. coin and currency and common bundling methodsTraining Requirements:Must obtain a Tow Motor licenseOperational knowledge of the BPS machineKnowledge of the ACSC systemPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Must be able stand for extended periods of time with frequent bending, stooping and liftingMust be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.Must be able to push a slot ticket cart and an impressments cartMust be physically able to access, service and operate all required equipment on the casino floorMust be able to use an “in ear” communication deviceMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hoursThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
