Records Clerk

Salary: $18–20 per hour. Contract role lasting 2 months or more, starting immediately. Role Overview This position involves scanning, digitizing, and organizing company documents, maintaining electronic and physical filing systems, indexing and categorizing records, processing document requests, monitoring retention practices, supporting audits, data entry projects, and other administrative tasks as assigned. Responsibilities Scan, digitize, and organize company documents while ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain electronic and physical filing systems that support efficient document retrieval. Index and categorize records within document management and filing systems. Process document requests and provide records to authorized personnel when needed. Monitor record retention practices and assist with document storage, archiving, and disposal activities. Support audits, data entry projects, and other administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous administrative, clerical, records management, or document control experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and file management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment, including scanners and copiers. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
