This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, while providing health teaching and counseling, supporting patient well-being, and executing delegated medical functions within the scope of practice. Job Details Required Qualifications: ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; at least 1 year of clinical experience. Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week. Performs health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, and nursing care. Executes delegated medical functions, monitors treatment plans, refers patients for further evaluation, documents in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, and utilizes resources as needed. May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
