Entry Level Automotive TechnicianAs an Entry Level Automotive Technician, you will help keep Harris County Agencies on the road by providing top-tier customer service while performing preventative maintenance services for their vehicles. Through our training program, you will learn to change oil, check and refill fluids, rotate tires, test and replace batteries, inspect and replace lights and wipers, perform Multipoint safety inspections, and more. You'll work as a team to provide fast, easy, efficient, and trusted services to our customers and their fleet, investing in the community and your future.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist other automotive technicians with the maintenance and repairs of Harris County VehiclesCommunicate with parts department to obtain needed partsAssist with Vehicle Multipoint inspections of vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is requiredAssist in documenting any work performedComplete web-based training and in person classes to advance to become a main line automotive technician and learn a "fix it right the first-time approach"Ensure customers' cars are kept cleanMust be able to account for all dealership-owned toolsAssist in road-testing vehicles and quality-check work performed from vendorsBe accountable to all dealership owned tools, and superior cleanliness throughout workspace and in all customer vehiclesHarris County is an Equal Opportunity Employer If you need special services or accommodations, please call View phone number on click.appcast.io or email View email address on click.appcast.io .
