Travel OB Registered Nurse (RN)

Travel OB Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract at a critical access hospital near St. Francis, KS. Provides comprehensive obstetric care during labor, delivery, and postpartum while working night shifts in a rural setting. Earn competitive weekly pay up to $2,700.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
• Assist physicians and providers during deliveries and obstetric procedures
• Perform newborn assessments and provide immediate post-delivery care
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge planning
• Respond quickly and effectively during obstetric emergencies
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pediatric providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kansas or Compact License preferred)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OB/Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Preferred Skills:

• Kansas or Compact License preferred
• Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
• Previous Critical Access Hospital experience preferred but not required
