Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Paterson, NJ

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Paterson, NJ, with a start date of ASAP through the end of the current school year (June 19th). This role is designed for an SLP experienced in pediatric and school-based therapy services, particularly those who are comfortable supporting preschool-aged students.


Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to preschool students within the school environment.
• Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop targeted treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress and maintain effective communication.
• Manage documentation and comply with all relevant educational and healthcare regulations.
• Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to supplement in-person services.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Experience in school-based or pediatric healthcare settings.
• Skilled in delivering teletherapy services.
• Strong ability to tailor therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of preschool-aged children.

Schedule and Work Details:

• Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Assignment to one campus.
• Approximate caseload involves preschool students.
