Project Manager – Transmission & Substation About the role: We’re looking for a Project Manager for Early Stage (ES) transmission & substation development on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment (W-2). The role manages the ES process for high-voltage transmission and substation projects within engineering & construction (E&C). The manager leads development of procurement, engineering, permitting, and land acquisition. The position is not responsible for site-based construction management and reports to the onsite manager. Location: Juno Beach, FL or Remote is an option for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities: Lead development of project plans with focus on execution, cost, and schedule. Coordinate diverse teams including development, land, environmental, legal, regulatory, procurement (ISC), engineering, and operations. Prepare RFP packages to competitively source engineering, survey, geotechnical, LiDAR, and construction services. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management. Experience: 11–15 years. Experience managing projects >$100 MM. Strong scope, schedule, and cost management and documentation skills. Ability to travel (~25%).
