Transportation Director

Job Description Immediate Opening TRANSPORTATION DIRECTOR This is a full-time, year-round position; we offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package, including retirement. Duties include, but are not limited to: Acts as a liaison between the district and the public on matters related to busing and other transportation. Supervision and evaluation of all district bus and van drivers Coordinates with Fleet Manager Assists with the yearly transportation budget School bus route planning Scheduling athletic and other extra-curricular trips Qualifications: Upon hire, you will be required to obtain a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) from the Maine Department of Education. A valid CDL license with a bus driver endorsement is preferred. Successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, prior supervisory experience, great communication and good computer skills as it relates to state reports and routing software.
