Duties Description This position will function as a working team leader of a cleaning crew by assigning the work, giving instructions, providing assistance and observing the work in progress on a daily basis. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:-Perform a variety of janitorial duties, including cleaning, maintenance and repair work.-Perform tasks that require medium to heavy physical labor.-Assist with grounds maintenance activities, including snow removal, lawn mowing, and upkeep of areas including sidewalks, yards, and driveways.-Safely operate and utilize appropriate tools, equipment, and materials necessary to complete assigned tasks.-Perform other related duties as assigned under the supervision of the Supervising Janitor.-Following established procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.-Using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for assigned tasks.-Participating in job-related training and professional development opportunities.
