TridentCare is hiring a Registered Sonographer for a permanent mobile ultrasound position in Omaha, Nebraska. Travel to nursing homes, home-care facilities, prisons, and other patient-care locations to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using portable equipment. This direct-hire opportunity offers $40–$50 per hour based on experience, a company vehicle, comprehensive benefits, and a typical Monday–Friday schedule.

Position: Permanent / Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

 

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile diagnostic ultrasound examinations at various patient-care facilities.
• Operate portable ultrasound equipment and transmit images electronically to radiologists.
• Verify physician orders and patient identity before examinations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and billing paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch, facilities, radiologists, and internal teams.
• Maintain company equipment and vehicle.
• Work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Travel between multiple locations throughout the assigned service area.

 

Required Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration required.
• General and vascular ultrasound experience required.
• RVT or RVS required.
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Maintain required certifications and credentials.
• COVID-19 vaccination required, with an exemption process available where applicable.
• Successful background check and drug screening required.
• Strong communication, organization, and independent-work skills.

Pay:  $40–$50/hour , based on experience
