Accent Smiles Dentistry is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist for our established private practice in Round Rock. We are an independently owned, non-corporate practice—not a DSO . Think of us as a modern, locally owned “mom-and-pop” dental office where decisions are made by people who work in the practice.

Our office has served the community for more than 20 years and has a loyal, tenured patient base. Many of our patients have been with us for decades and have become friends. This is a low-stress, relationship-focused position with a manageable schedule of approximately 6–8 patients per day on a single column schedule. We focus on thorough, comfortable care rather than a rushed, high-volume environment.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch. No Fridays, weekends, or evenings.

Compensation and benefits:

• $45–$54/hour, based on clinical expertise, certifications, and experience.

Our hygiene department follows the EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) protocol using the latest EMS equipment. We also use digital radiography, intraoral cameras, intraoral scanning, and 3D printing. We currently use Dentrix and will transition to Open Dental soon, so experience with either system is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities include preventive and periodontal care, periodontal charting, digital radiographs, oral cancer screening, patient education, and complete clinical documentation.

Requirements:

Current Texas dental hygiene license in good standing

Current CPR certification

Gentle, dependable, and patient-focused

Strong communication and clinical documentation skills

Nice to have, but not required:

Nitrous oxide certification

Local anesthesia certification

Clinical experience in a private practice
