Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: LTAC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Skilled RN experience License: Must have NC or multi-state compact RN license Certifications: Must have ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Vent/trach experience - Knowledge of central lines - Preferred wound care experience Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available. Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Shifts can vary, including weekdays and weekends. On-call duty may be required one weekend per month.
