Outdoor Garden Center Merchandiser

Hiring for our PART TIME, OUTDOOR Plant Merchandiser role! This position is SEASONALLY-BASED. This role is NOT Full-time or Year-round. Virginia Beach, VA 23454 Store 539 - 3330 Virginia Beach Blvd Virginia Beach, VA 23452 As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include: Display a variety of outdoor plants Maintain product displays each day Water all plant materials Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed Ensure proper signage is in place Maintain a safe and clean display area Remove and record expired plant material Interact with store personnel and customers Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates Complete report for each store servicedDocument every visit using the Go Spot Check app As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will be required to: Have a smart phone Workoutdoorsin all elements Have dependable transportation that you have access to daily Have a valid driver’s license Lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively Understand and execute planograms Use workplace mobile apps Able to assemble and tear down outdoor benching Our ideal candidates will demonstrate the following: Strong communication skills Highly organized Detail Oriented Responsible, reliable and dependable work habits Self-starter / Self-motivated Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision Previous merchandiser experience appreciated – will train strong candidates Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal Benefits: On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Paid training #J-18808-Ljbffr National Garden Service
