Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state license or certification to work as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
• Organizational skills and adaptability within dynamic school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and support to students dealing with personal, social, or academic challenges
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies for student success
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual needs
• Facilitate group or classroom sessions on relevant social-emotional topics
• Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing guidance and support as needed
• Advocate for students to connect them with community resources and additional services
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold ethical standards
