Procurement Specialist III

To support the material planning process, the full-time hybrid Procurement Specialist III will oversee inventory management, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the availability of materials for production while driving strategic improvements. Key responsibilities: Develop and manage advanced material requirements plans (MRP) to support production schedules and contract deliverables Analyze demand forecasts and inventory trends to ensure material availability and cost efficiency Serve as the primary contact for material planning issues, providing guidance to junior planners and procurement teams Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field Minimum 5-7 years of experience in material planning or supply chain management, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry Extensive experience with MRP/ERP systems such as Deltek CostPoint, SAP, or Oracle Advanced understanding of material planning processes and inventory management principles US Citizenship is required
