Role Description The Hospitality Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at Brienzo’s Pizza + Bar in East Peoria, IL. This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing waitlists, and guiding patrons to their tables while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Day-to-day tasks include taking and serving food and beverage orders, answering menu questions, coordinating with the kitchen and bar team, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of items. The Hospitality Specialist will monitor guest satisfaction throughout the visit, address concerns promptly, and support a clean, organized dining environment, including indoor and outdoor areas. The role may also involve processing payments, assisting with reservations, and contributing to team communication and shift transitions. Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication abilities. Demonstrated experience in Hospitality and Hospitality Service in a restaurant or similar setting. Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, including basic understanding of menu items and beverage offerings. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized, courteous, and attentive to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
