Apple is looking for a passionate and practical Commercial Legal Counsel to join its WW Commercial and International Legal team. As an active member of the Commercial Legal team and an integrated business partner, the Legal Counsel will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of some of the most groundbreaking products in the world.ResponsibilitiesAdvising and supporting sales and operations on a variety of complex contracts and commercial projects in the channel, including direct engagement with customers and partnersNegotiating and drafting strategic agreements, including sales, distribution, marketing, and after-sales service of Apple productsProviding solutions-based counseling to all levels of management on a wide variety of complex legal and business issuesBuilding relationships and collaborating with multiple teams across Apple's organization to identify and resolve issues and close dealMinimum QualificationsJD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar3-7 years of experience (in-house and/or law firm), including substantive experience on commercial contracts ideally in the telecom or consumer electronics spaceExcellent interpersonal, communication, and drafting skills: ability to listen, communicate, and draft in a clear and concise manner, present and speak-up, influence, convince, and confront ideas to get to the right decisionFamiliarity with competition law and other relevant legal issues related to sales, marketing, and distribution in the US and/or other geosSome travel may be requiredPreferred QualificationsCurious, self-starter who can work independently, thrives in building strong relationships and driving projects involving cross functional teams, and skilled in collaborating with clients based in various geographiesExcellent analytical skills, detail oriented with a strong business acumen, excellent time management and organizational skills, and able to handle a variety of matters at once in a fast-paced environmentAbility to resolve complex issues in creative and effective waysComfortable advising and working with senior and executive managementExperience with mobile wireless technologies and mobile network operators would be ideal, but not requiredPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $204,700 and $307,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
